Animation Research

General research on animation which could influence me and give me ideas on who will my sequence will be, Most of the animation on going to put in here are animation and camera transition and motion tracking, I'm achieving to get some initial scene sequence and motion tracking on the character or on the scene.

TIM HOPE
The wolf man by tim hope is one of the animation research that influenced my work.

Chris alt

This is an animation that was made by Chris alt, you can go to his site called ginger finch (www.chirsalt.de), I like the opening scene that start from 0:17-20:00 on how she the building goes out of the frame and zooms in the window were she opened after, that is the kind of sequence I'm looking for to use in my animation although the silhouette character is made from a moving human with the green screen, my initial idea it only use a cut out version of a silhouette with limited movement because my animation will only last for 30sec and I need to get all the three (emotional, sexual & physical abuse) scene in it and I like this kind of animation, and the well thought off, In the near future I might do something similar to this kind of animation.

Animation 2
A simple background made by Eric Gutierrez, which has strong points in it and i like how the background move as the tree moves sideways and forward that made it more realistic.

Animation 3
Animation made by Eric Prah this animation is made using 3D character then imported to after effect then use a silhouette effect to remove the background and created the color background on each movement sequence I like how the background changes on every move, I would like to use this kind of technique using 3D animation and making it into silhouette It would be nice if I use it in my animation.

Animation 4
Another animation style where Anna Zellweger use tracing paper for her animation and stop motion sequence to make her character looks like she's falling down and then going up using a balloon.

Animation 5

Another great animation made by evangelos christopoulos, I think out of all the animation I have researched this would be my favorite the style and how it looked like its 3D even though its actually
2D using camera transition and other 3D style elements like the depth of the lines and shapes.

Animation 6

This particular animation catches my eye on the first glance because the word charcoal being use in animation made me think what would the outcome will be, alesh macak made this possible using stop motion and charcoal the effort on the frames and at the same time keeping then charcoal movement going smoothly along with other elements like the clock rings, tree branch and finally the lamp on which clay and wire were used to create that final scene a well thought animation and a good use of other media.
